First, Lapid held a discussion with Minister of Finance Avigdor Lieberman and Minister of Education Yifat Shasha Biton, regarding progress in the negotiations with the Teachers' Union. The meeting was attended by the Director General of the Prime Minister's Office Naama Shultz, the Director General of the Ministry of Education Dalit Stauber and the Commissioner for Salaries at the Treasury Kobi Bar Natan .
After that, an extended discussion was held on the readiness of the education system for the opening of the 2018 school year, with the Minister of Education Yifat Shasha Biton, and the top of the Ministry of Education.
