Loretta left the prison of Rebibbia this afternoon, the 84-year-old woman arrested on 9 August after she hit her husband, at the height of a dispute, with some stab wounds.
The court of Rome has given the go ahead for the transfer to a structure run by nuns at the Borghesiana, the Missionary Citadel Foundation - La casa del Povero.
The woman, formerly a seamstress of Sofia Loren and Marcello Mastroianni, was accompanied by Gabriella Stramaccioni, Guarantor of the prisoners of the municipality of Rome.
