In October 1952, the first edition of the children's newspaper Atfoni was published, which is still considered to be the oldest children's newspaper in Israel and one of the oldest in the world.
Over the years, the newspaper has undergone many changes and upgrades, but even today it is considered a favorite of children in Israel.
"They didn't tell the first issue because they didn't believe it would survive 70 years in a row," says Rami Shir, editor and CEO of the newspaper, which we reached as part of "The Business of the State" in collaboration with B144.
