Why pay property tax twice?

This is perhaps the question that went through the mind of the actor Ben Affleck, who decided to sell his house in Los Angeles for close to 30 million dollars ($29,995,000, to be exact).

Affleck purchased the home in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood in 2018, shortly after his divorce from actress Jennifer Garner, for $19 million.

Affleck is apparently expected to move into the home of his new wife, Jennifer Lopez (as reported by the gossip site TMZ), who owns a luxurious home that she purchased sometime in 2016 in the prestigious Bel Air neighborhood.

Affleck and Lopez married in a secret wedding in Las Vegas last month, after rekindling their romantic relationship that ended in separation two decades ago.

The neighborhood where Affleck's bachelor villa is located is a closed neighborhood, with a gate and a guard at the entrance - perfect for stars or ordinary people who are particularly jealous of their privacy.

On the real estate site Realtor.com it is detailed that the house has 7 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms/bathrooms and covers 1,250 square meters (which is a lot of space - some would say too much - for a person who lives alone).

In the kitchen you will find blue cabinets, marble surfaces and a dining table that overlooks the garden.

In the master suite, which is on the second floor, you can admire the high ceiling and warm up in front of the fireplace on cold nights or pamper yourself in the spa-like bathroom.

Of course, there is also a spacious closet and a private balcony.

Apart from the additional bedrooms and bathrooms, the house also includes a home office with custom-made wall cabinets, a home theater room, a laundry room, a recreation and games room that includes a bar, a wine cellar, a gym and another room that is defined as a "wellness room".

In addition, there is a guest house separate from the house, included in the price of the property.

According to the report on the TMZ website, Affleck and Lopez have not yet moved into the singer's house in Bel Air because renovation work is being done there these days.

In the meantime, they live in another house in Los Angeles located in the Beverly Hills neighborhood.

At one point the couple were in talks to purchase another luxurious mansion in Bel Air, for $50 million.

However, the deal fell through and never materialized.
