The elements of the Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Aleppo organized 264 catering seizures, 31 of them in kind against violators during the current month of August, which varied between trading in ration flour, not announcing prices, selling at an extra price, fraud and fraud.
Director of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection, Ahmed Sankari Tarabishi, said in a statement to SANA reporter that 23,500 tons of food flour were confiscated from a warehouse in Jibreen district, east of Aleppo. A seizure for the violation of selling at an excessive price, and 16 for announcing the sale at an increased price as well.
Tarabishi added that 37 arrests were made against the owners of the ovens, with a fine of 67.650 million pounds, and 20 arrests were made for red and white meat for violating the slaughter outside the technical altar and the slaughter of the female Awassi, in addition to the seizure of the first two fuel stations on the Raqqa road for violating the removal of official seals, tampering with meters and disposing of a quantity of diesel. The fine amounted to more than 4 million Syrian pounds, and the second station was in Tel Arn, due to a shortage of 6,535 liters of diesel, and its owner was fined 118 million pounds.
