After a visit to Kaufland, a 71-year-old misses his wallet.

He is dependent on his pension, his stepdaughter complains.

There is a lot of encouragement on the internet.

Alfeld - It's an almost everyday story, but it stands for a lot in society: A man lost his wallet at Kaufland in Alfeld in Lower Saxony.

Now his stepdaughter is turning to the public: 140 euros have disappeared with the wallet.

Help is needed because the 71-year-old is "depending on his pension," as reported by hna.de.

The stepdaughter shared the most important facts in the Facebook group "Alfeld – what is happening right now".

The case is said to have happened three days ago: "He left the register and then put his wallet across from the kebab shop to check the receipt," she writes.

Then it happened: the wallet was gone.

"I hope for an honest finder."

The reactions of the other group members from Alfeld in Lower Saxony are sometimes touching.

"If she doesn't come back and he needs help: please let us know.

I like to go shopping with him at my expense," writes a Facebook user after the call to lose Kaufland.

The wallet has not appeared so far.

The pensioner's stepdaughter herself did not give up hope.

Nevertheless, she says: "I think people are tempted by the sum." Another Facebook user explains: "Yes, unfortunately it is also very tempting in the current situation."

Alfeld in Lower Saxony: After the loss at Kaufland, Facebook users encourage those affected

The 71-year-old and his stepdaughter may be encouraged by an anecdote that is also described by a user in the Kaufland post.

"My wife put hers on the roof yesterday in Hildesheim-Drispenstedt.

Three hours later the doorbell rang and we had honest finders.

Were 120 euros in it.

And it was all there.

I gave a finder's fee of 50 euros.

A married couple made it from Hildesheim to Gronau.”

The pensioner from Alfeld in Lower Saxony should be treated to similar luck after his loss.

And if the Facebook users from Alfeld can help, so much the better.

The post has already been shared umpteen times.
