Suspicion: They conducted surveillance - and stole bags of cannabis from a woman in Tel Aviv

The police arrested two young men from Bat Yam, on the suspicion that they followed a woman who bought cannabis with a license and robbed her of 5 bags when she left the place.

They escaped on motorcycles, and were arrested at the end of a police chase

Two residents of Bat Yam were arrested on suspicion of stealing medical cannabis from a woman who purchased it shortly before at a pharmacy in Tel Aviv.

The detention of the two was extended by the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court until tomorrow (Thursday).

According to the police, last week the two were spotted riding a motorcycle and observing a pharmacy on Yarakon Street in Tel Aviv.

After the suspects noticed the policemen, they fled the scene driving wildly and crossing red lights, and the police started chasing them.

At the same time, a report was received about the theft of five bags of medical cannabis from a woman with a license, who purchased them shortly before at the pharmacy that the two were watching.

The suspects were caught and brought in for questioning, at the end of which their detention was extended.
