In a royal ceremony:
the Jordanian Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah got engaged today (Wednesday) to the choice of his heart, Mrs. Rajawa Khaled bin Musad bin Seif.
The engagement began with the opening ceremony at the bride's father's house in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.
Besides King Abdullah and Queen Rania, the ceremony was also attended by Prince Hassan bin Talal and other Saudi officials.
The 28-year-old Rajawa was born in the Saudi capital Riyadh in 1994.
She received her higher education at the College of Architecture at Syracuse University in New York.
The Al-Saif family is part of the Shavia tribe that lives in the Najad region in the center of the Saudi Kingdom.

Hussein is two months younger than his fiancée Rajava, and was born in June 1994. In recent months, he has been receiving significant media attention and accompanies his father Abdullah in important meetings with world leaders.
Thus, for example, he accompanied the Jordanian king to meet with Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi, on his trip to the USA and his visit to Ramallah.

The marriage to a young woman from the Saudi elite could hint at a desire for rapprochement between the countries.
As I recall, in the series of arrests in Jordan that took place about a year ago, a senior Jordanian official who had good ties with the Saudi royal family was also caught.
