The president intends, as for the alternation, to put the means, in particular by increasing and remunerating the internship periods (from 200 to 500 euros per month) that the 650,000 vocational high school students, including 250,000 in final year, must carry out during of their course.
The Head of State also promised to achieve a better match between the certifications offered (commercial, administrative, electricity, etc.) and the needs of businesses.
To achieve his objectives, he even appointed a deputy minister, Carole Grandjean, attached to the ministries of Education and Labor (a first).
