The United Russia party website has been subjected to hacking attacks originating from the United States, South Korea and Europe.
The RIA Novosti news agency quoted the party's press service as saying in a statement: A strong "DDoS" attack was launched on the United Russia website, with attempts to disrupt the operation of the party's official website.
The statement indicated that the peak strength of the attacks reached tens of gigabits per second, as tens of thousands of IP addresses, whether Russian or from all over the world, are used to implement them, pointing out that the attacks originated from the United States, South Korea and a number of eastern and northern European countries.
