Tutzing wants to curb the overgrowth of signs

A commercial guidance system should lead interested parties to Tutzinger companies.

The centrally mounted boards, on which several companies can refer to themselves, are intended to replace the previous forest of signs.

– A so-called commercial guidance system is to lead to more shops and companies in Tutzing than before.

Some time ago, a notice board with several signs on Hallberger Allee started things off.

More plaques of this kind are to follow in other places around the site.

In this way, the municipality wants to curb the proliferation of signage and achieve standardization.

This was suggested by the action group of Tutzinger traders (ATG).

The mobility working group of the municipal council has been dealing with the project for some time.

Flora Weichmann (Greens), who belongs to him, was recently satisfied with the start on Hallberger Allee in the municipal council's traffic committee.

As in this case, the municipality wants to bear the costs for additional frames and for their installation.

The plaque on Hallberger Allee comes from a company in Baden-Württemberg, the Schilder Wellmann company in Kupferzell-Mangoldsall.

Bräuhausstrasse, Kirchenstrasse/Oskar-Schüler-Strasse, Bahnhofstrasse, Greinwaldstrasse and Marienstrasse were mentioned some time ago as additional locations for such signage.

Businesses can have information signs with their names attached.

For cleaning and maintenance you have to pay 48 euros per year.

Not all tradespeople located in this area are listed on the notice board on Hallberger Allee.

However, the system offers space for further signs.

The mobility working group will follow up in due course.

The next step is to make and set up the signs.

Finally, a call to traders is planned to remove their older information and advertising signs.

"After the renovation of the through road, the signs will no longer be tolerated on public land," affirmed Mayor Marlene Greinwald.

She also expressly mentioned signs in front of shops on sidewalks, which often partially blocked the passage.

Some signs are also long outdated, such as on the lake shore near the steamer jetty.

The mayor wants to discuss the entire subject of the signage with the ATG.

When the concept was presented some time ago, it was emphasized that the signage was not intended as advertising but as information and that advertising inscriptions therefore had no place on the facilities.
