MdL Benno Zierer has now gotten a picture of the worries and needs of the people of Rudelzhausen.

Road repairs are particularly urgent in the municipality.

Rudelzhausen

– The FW member of parliament Benno Zierer likes to look at things on the spot – including recently the “construction sites” in Rudelzhausen.

What concerns the citizens there above all is the road condition of the through roads from Rudelzhausen and Tegernbach - both resemble a patchwork quilt with pothole guarantee.

The B 301 in Rudelzhausen, and Mayor Michael Krumbucher, his deputy Edwin Lambert and Benno Zierer agreed on this, is in poor condition.

When driving through, the trio said it jerked “like on a mogul slope”.

"We are asked about it almost every day," explained Lambert and continued: "The nerves of the citizens are on edge."

Rescue is in sight in Tegernbach

In Tegernbach the road surface doesn't look much better, if anything worse.

However, rescue is in sight there, as Lambert announced when asked: The Tegernbach through road is to be completely renovated next year.

What is of course particularly annoying on the federal highway 301 through Rudelzhausen: The road from Mainburg has already been renovated and a new surface has also been applied from the direction of Au - the only problem is in Rudelzhausen with the smooth ride.

But why is nothing going on here?

The mayor clarified: "The water association urgently needs to renovate its pipes below the street, ideally that should be done with the street renovation." What's more: the Freising State Building Authority is responsible for planning and implementing the street renovation - and that's where it is there has been a shortage of staff for a long time.

Dangerous curve inspected

What the Freising State Building Authority has therefore suggested: The municipality should look for a planner itself and pre-finance his work.

However, Michael Krumbucher quickly dismissed the idea, because his administration was also overwhelmed with work.

However, those who have promised help are the members of the Bundestag Andreas Mehltretter (SPD), Erich Irlstorfer (CSU) and Leon Eckert (Greens), who have also been to Rudelzhausen to have the problems described first-hand.

"But now they have to follow their words with deeds," said Zierer's clear wish in the direction of Berlin.

(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

Also at the top of the wish list for the people of Rudelzhausen: the imminent implementation of the Enzelhausen bypass.

Zierer and the heads of town hall inspected the highly dangerous hairpin curve at the Schimmelkapelle – a curve through which heavy goods traffic torments itself every day.

Actually, according to Krumbucher, construction of the bypass should have started in 2016.

After all, there is a finished plan.

The necessary planning approval decision is missing for this.

Flood protection concept raised

What was also discussed at the on-site meeting was the implementation of the flood protection concept in Tegernbach.

The municipality recently received a grant notice for this, which is why construction of a retention basin can begin this year.

The member of parliament for the Free Voters was also impressed by the numerous open-space photovoltaic systems in Rudelzhausen on areas where bentonite was formerly mined.

"This is the ideal case, because it protects agricultural land," concludes Zierer.
