A former cleaning worker at a hotel in the United States published a Tik Tok video that went viral, in which she gave tips on what we should clean before settling in the room.
"When I enter the room, I never touch the remote controls (for the TV and the air conditioner) without cleaning them first," says the employee, Evangeline Shema. She also added that she would never touch the glasses or drink from them without first cleaning them, or that she would drink from disposable cups. "My cleaning is different from the point of view of your hotel cleaning," she said.

Referring to the bed cover, Evangeline stated that she would never sit on it - but would change it immediately.
"It is not an item that is washed in the hotel frequently, so I avoid touching it or even sitting on it," she said.
She also said that she does not walk on the carpet or enter the shower barefoot: "I always have flip-flops that go with me."
And if you were wondering what happened to the small towels that are around the room, then you guessed right - she won't use them either: "It's not that they don't wash them, but that hundreds have used them on their faces and private parts, and that's not okay as far as I'm concerned."
