According to the testimonies of passengers on the flight from Cyprus to Britain, the passenger got on the plane drunk - and even used cocaine during the flight • Passengers said: "Some guys jumped on him and restrained him"

Horror in the skies:

a passenger who boarded a plane from Paphos in Cyprus to Manchester in the UK boarded it drunk and after using cocaine.

If that wasn't enough, the passenger also wished the passengers that they would meet again in heaven - and he even tried to open the emergency door of the plane while in the air.

The incident happened yesterday (Tuesday) on a flight of the Belgian TUI company, which said that the passenger would never be able to travel with them again.

The ones who took control of the unruly passenger were some other passengers who took the initiative while he was trying to open the emergency door.

A woman named Christy, who was on the plane, said: "The passenger was aggressive and scary from the very beginning of the flight, yet the company allowed him to board the flight drunk and the flight attendants even continued to give him alcoholic drinks. Later he took cocaine, knelt down to pray on the floor and told my children, 'Goodbye In paradise'. I started screaming. My husband took the initiative and took control of him."

Another passenger named James Rockliff said that after the light on the plane went out, something suddenly started happening at his end.

"There were a lot of people there trying to calm down someone who was praying. He said 'I'll see you all in heaven' and went to try to open the emergency door. At that point, three guys jumped on him and restrained him. There was a lot of screaming and crying on the plane."

A spokesperson for the company apologized for the incident and the fact that, following the passenger's rampage, the flight made an emergency landing in Zagreb, Croatia.

The spokesperson also stated that "the passenger was removed and handed over to the police, and he will not fly with us anymore. We take a zero tolerance approach when it comes to the safety of our passengers."
