The children's circus "imagine kids" gave an acclaimed performance on the premises of the Friends of Nature House.

Weilheim

– Colorful flags wherever you looked pointed out the visitors to the big event.

Because circus air lay over the grounds of the Naturfreudenhaus in Weilheim.

The children's circus "imagine kids" set up their tents there.

Before the 84 little artists between the ages of five and 14 were able to show their great skills, they practiced diligently for the big performance at eight stations around the site in seven workshops.

Rehearsals lasted a week under the proven direction of Florian Kluthe, who was in charge of the children's circus for the 6th time and ensured a wonderful evening with a good 24 supervisors and helpers.

Before the gala could begin, there was a secret "circus oath".

Kluthe was enthusiastic about the view of the hill in front of the willow stage, where the visitors, mostly parents, grandparents and siblings, but also circus enthusiasts, had made themselves comfortable.

"I've never seen the place so crowded," said Kluthe.

Impressive artistic achievements were shown in particular by the slightly taller participants during their performances.

Then it started, as it should be for a real circus, with loud music and lighting effects on the professionally created stage that made you want more.

Then it went on a journey through an adventure world like "Motopia", the "Mirror World", the "Planet of Good Hope" or the secret "Shadow World".

Tricks with tires and roller boards were just as exciting as unicycling, juggling, dancing and gymnastics.

Even if not everything was perfect, the applause was certain for the “little artists” and spurred them on even more.

In addition to many somersaults, the older ones provided demanding acrobatics such as swinging on a large tire at a dizzy height.

For the first time there was a “children’s circus newspaper” on the “paper planet”, with the publication of which Natascha Scheuring was in charge and the reporters did not always get off well: “too stressed”, “chew on the pencil” and “want always explain everything".

The gala was over after a good two hours and the artists said goodbye to their audience with many bows, which rewarded them with lots of applause.

Already looking forward to a new edition next year

Nine-year-old Pauline, who was there last year and was allowed to work on the circus newspaper this year, also liked it.

Marie (9) was at the start for the first time and showed a juggling: "I really liked it and I hope to be able to do it again next year".

She has also found new friends in Sarah (9) and Sophie (11): "We understand and wonderfully".

"It was great fun, we started preparing in January and already have registrations for next year," says Bettina Hoffmeyer from the Mothers' Center, which is responsible for the children's circus.

"We're like a big family," says Florian Kluthe, looking forward to next year when the children's circus starts again.
