Three of the five minors placed in police custody after the attack on firefighters in a home for young foreign residents of the capital have been referred to the Paris prosecutor's office,
Le Figaro
has learned .
They are summoned to a later hearing to be tried for "
degradation and violence against a person holding public authority and a person responsible for a public service mission
(a home educator, editor's note)".

In the meantime, one of the minors has been placed in pre-trial detention and the other two are subject to a provisional judicial educational measure

On Saturday August 13, the Paris firefighters were attacked when they intervened to rescue a resident of a home for young foreigners located in the 12th arrondissement of the capital, at 20 boulevard Poniatowski.
The firefighters had received blows and numerous projectiles.
The attackers were notably armed with fire extinguishers, pairs of scissors and even forks.
Three firefighters were slightly injured but their condition did not require hospital transfer.
The firefighters' vehicle was also damaged.
The three firefighters had filed a complaint, as did an educator at the home, targeted by death threats with a stabbing weapon after trying to calm the situation.
