Prime Minister Lapid is expected to make a state visit to Germany on September 12, Israel Hayom has learned.
It was recently announced that against the background of the new geo-strategic situation in Europe following Russia's invasion of Ukraine, Germany is interested in purchasing the "Hatz" interception system from Israel.
"Germany is a very important ally of ours and she can get almost everything she wants from us," said the political source.
"There are many other countries that are interested in Israel's defensive capabilities and we carefully examine each request, out of a desire to help friendly countries. However, we are cautious about knowledge leakage."

Apparently, the complex negotiations with Germany on the sale of the Arrow are expected to continue for a few more weeks at least. According to what is known, Finland and Sweden, which are about to join NATO despite Russia's protests, have also expressed interest in the system.
