The Minister of Presidential Affairs, Mansour Azzam, visited the Syrian researcher and historian Muhammad Qajah at his home in the city of Aleppo to assure his health on behalf of President Bashar al-Assad and Mrs. Asma al-Assad, where he conveyed to the historian their wishes for health and safety.

Qujja was born in Aleppo in 1939 and still inhabits and inhabits it. Qujja is one of the flags of Aleppo and Syria and a lover of history, culture and heritage. He carried Aleppo in his conscience and heart, so he gave it of his knowledge and culture with boundless generosity. The people of Aleppo describe him as the second fortress of Aleppo.

The historian Koja presented a gift to Mr. President and Mrs. Asmaa, a book he wrote about Aleppo, the capital of culture, which he wrote and he is proud to have distributed more than 100,000 Arabic and Islamic copies of it.

He served as the Secretary-General of the “Celebration of Aleppo, the Capital of Islamic Culture” in 2006, and a consultant to “UNESCO” for intangible heritage in Syria in 2010, and editor-in-chief of “Al-Turath magazine” and head of the National Register of Cultural Heritage Committee, and he won the “State Appreciation Award in the field of Criticism, Studies and Translation” in 2016. He is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the “Al-Adiyat Association” since 1994.
