Conspiracy against Lieberman?

In a post published this evening (Thursday), Finance Minister Avigdor Lieberman hinted at attempts to establish a new party that would appeal to the voter base of Yisrael Beitenu.

"The rumor says that the person responsible for the same phenomenon is Binyamin Netanyahu," he wrote.

Lieberman claimed that a list is always created before the elections, the whole purpose of which is to appeal to the Russian-speaking audience and bite into the small number of Israeli voters at home.

According to him, all of this is happening at a time when "Netanyahu's trumpets are blowing that our home Israel will not pass the threshold".

He also added: "This time, too, there is a 'malicious rumor' circulating among the speakers of the Russian language, according to which this time the task was assigned to the Mirilashvili family and especially to Yitzhak Mirilashvili, who also happens to be the owner of Channel 14. According to those rumors, Mirilashvili has already had time to contact a number of Russian speakers, who have ambition politically, and also buy whole farms of bots around the world.

"It is true that these are only rumors, and I have no proof of this, so I hope that all those 'malicious rumors' will remain rumors. Of course, if I am wrong, then I apologize in advance."
