Opinion The test of the Palestinian state Israel today

2022-08-18T21:41:34.041Z

Lapid condemned him on Twitter, and Gantz extorted "clarification" from him, but both will continue to support Abu Mazen • Except for Shaked, Smotrich and Ben Gvir, all parties will support political folding • This is how the Palestinians returned to the political agenda

We didn't need Mahmoud Abbas' threatening statements this week to know who we were dealing with.

There was nothing new in Abu Mazen's refusal to condemn the massacre of our athletes in Munich, in which he was involved, and of course not in the claim that Israel has committed and is committing 50 holocausts.

This is the line of Abbas himself, a veteran holocaust denier, but also the position of the organization and the authority he heads - the PLO and the Palestinian Authority. This was true before the signing of the Oslo "Peace" and it has been true ever since. This is our most bitter enemy, who nests within us.

Although Prime Minister Yair Lapid tweeted that it was a "moral disgrace and a terrible distortion", Defense Minister Benny Gantz did manage to extract an unfortunate "clarification" from Abu Mazen, but they, like most of the political establishment, continue to preserve and strengthen Abu Mazen and his being.

A clear example of ignoring the essence of the head of the PLO and the rulers of Ramallah is provided by the new star in the sky of our politics, Gadi Eisenkot, the former chief of staff.

Eisenkot is a definite follower of the redemption of Israel through the Palestinian Authority.

According to the reports, his main motivation to enter politics is precisely the vision of "separation from the Palestinians" - a code name for the establishment of a Palestinian state led by supporters of terrorism and deniers of the Holocaust.

In a recent interview he gave to Ben Caspit, he claimed that the Palestinian Authority must be strengthened, that the alternative is a binational state, and therefore we must "separate" from the Palestinians.

He admitted that the Oslo process had failed and that the Palestinians "honestly earned" our criticism, but he still preached to embrace the enemy.

These positions, which today lead the party of the two chiefs of staff, herald the most serious threat to the state. The Oslo Accords were a senseless empirical experiment, which ended in an ocean of blood and terror, while devouring the basic assumptions about peace and Palestinian partners. Since then it has been proven that the very existence of the Palestinian Authority of the PLO is the root of the catastrophe.

But Eisenkot and his ilk ignore the facts, the reality, the necessary conclusions.

Among other things, they turn their heads to incitement, to support terrorism, to the systematic struggle against our very existence.

And whoever wants to give the Ramallah authorities a state, will endanger the very existence of the State of Israel.

We hijacked the results of the false slogan of "separation", synonymous with "disengagement", by fleeing from Gaza, while its sister slogan, according to which the negation of the Palestinian state leads to a bi-national state, is meaningless.

The enemy of the PLO should be uprooted from within, sovereignty should be applied in areas C, and at the same time strive for the formation of an autonomous framework in areas A and B in the West Bank.

One that walks hand in hand with us, does not work to eliminate us.

In any case, this week, unwittingly, support for Holocaust denier Abu Mazen and the Palestinian state became a basic touchstone in the upcoming election.

Despite the fact that apparently the issue is not on the agenda at all.

Palestine from wall to wall

It is not for nothing that Gadi Eisenkot is a member of Bnei Gantz, the one who hosted the holocaust denier Abbas in his home and allows the PA to take over most of the Yosh territories. Because the party that was established this week under the name "The State Camp" is largely the Palestinian state party. What made Matan Kahana join this body This week, what are Gideon Sa'ar and Ze'ev Elkin doing there - it's hard to take in. This is another example of good politicians succumbing to the pressures of their careers, while throwing ideology to hell.

It's just that if you look at the political map, the state camp is really not alone among Abu Mazen's supporters.

Meretz and the work are deeply rooted in his lap.

Lapid, who tries to obscure his ideology in order to deceive the voters, stands exactly in the ideological slot of Benny Gantz.

The businessmen of the ultra-orthodox parties - they will go with those who flow budgets, just like Aryeh Deri who allowed the very existence of the Oslo Accords.

And in the Likud, it is important to review Binyamin Netanyahu's book "A Place Under the Sun", in which he sharply analyzed the destructive dynamics of the PLO, that a state in the Yash would be used as a springboard for the elimination of all of Israel.

He pointed to Judea and Samaria as Israel's protective space, and especially convinced why there is no such animal - a demilitarized Palestinian state.

Because the Palestinians will violate any ceasefire, and we will not be able to do anything against that, neither practically nor politically.

Only that in practice, Netanyahu is the main promoter of the Palestinian state since the days of Obama.

Netanyahu's supporters can make excuses and wriggle, but not protest the fact that Bibi is systematically marketing, from the Bar Ilan speech to the Trump plan, the Palestinian state led by Abu Mazen.

He repeated this over the years, trying to sell the demilitarized state formula, the one he skillfully rejected in his book, in its previous incarnation.

Netanyahu also preserved and strengthened the Palestinian Authority during the years of his rule, even though he verbally attacked Abu Mazen and his gang.

All this leaves us with only two or three parties that pass the test of Abu Mazen and the Palestinian state.

Ayelet Shaked, Bezalel Smotrich and Itamar Ben Gvir are the only party leaders who take a systematic, reasoned and genuine position against the disaster of the Palestinian Authority and the Palestinian state.

Who will build a house in Israel?

One of the most difficult manifestations resulting from the paralysis of the Palestinian state is precisely the housing price crisis.

Shocking figures were published this week regarding the increase in apartment prices, but we only got to hear the chewed-up formulas that have starred here for years - from Bibi to Kahlon, from Lapid to Lieberman.

No one had any real news, despite the fact that the solution is here and now - massive construction in Judea and Samaria.

The natural development of Gush Dan is to the east, Petach Tikva and Kfar Saba towards the hills of western Samaria.

There, between Beit Aryeh and Barkan, between Nili and Elkana and all the way to Tufuh, extend extensive complexes of state land on which hundreds of thousands of housing units can be built. The natural development of Jerusalem, in the direction of the mostly empty spaces, is to the east. It is possible to build at least tens of thousands of housing units. This is also the case in the south of Mount Hebron, in northern Samaria, in the Jordan Valley and on the eastern slopes of Judea and Samaria. In these areas, the housing problem of the State of Israel can be solved for at least the next 50 years, without moving anyone.

If these lands are sold quickly and cheaply, houses will be built for millions of Israelis and housing prices in the entire country will be destroyed.

It's just that Israeli governments run away from the Jewish People on purpose. This is true, especially, of Bibi - the leader of the strong right, who even prevented the establishment of Jewish neighborhoods in Jerusalem - in Givat HaMatus, in Atret, etc. Lapid, Gantz and Eisenkot - they too, like Netanyahu, are infected with the Permissive Syndrome The territory for the future Palestinian state Such a state will not be established, but in the meantime the true right parties must condition any participation in the coalition on crushing housing prices by pushing the natural development of Judea and Samaria.
