The municipality of Anzing starts funding for the preservation of the image of the town centre.

Anyone renovating and/or redesigning can now apply for a grant.

Anzing – Anyone who lives in the center of Anzing can now apply to the municipality for funding for redevelopment and design measures – with the aim of preserving the townscape.

Mayor Kathrin Alte (CSU) said yesterday that grants are possible for facade design/shops and garden design.

According to Alte, 30,000 euros are currently available in the municipal funding program decided by the municipal council and supported by the government of Upper Bavaria.

The area of application essentially includes Högerstrasse, Erdinger Strasse, Hirnerstrasse and Amselweg.

Anzing: Funding of up to 15,000 euros possible

In the press release, the mayor lists which measures are being funded (addition: "if budgetary funds are available"):

• Construction measures for the preservation and design of the existing buildings, insofar as they are of importance for the townscape or the local history.

This includes the facade design, improving accessibility, roofs and roof structures, enclosures and external stairs with a character that characterizes the townscape.

• Laying out or redesigning front gardens and courtyards with a public effect to preserve and design the townscape, for example through site-specific greening and unsealing and, in particular, measures to adapt to climate change.

• Conversion measures to eliminate structural defects in existing business, service and restaurant areas.

Kathrin Alte points out that the municipal council decides on the amount of the respective subsidy.

"A maximum of 15,000 euros will be approved." All information on the municipal funding program is available at www.anzing.de.

(By the way: Everything from the region is now also available in our regular Ebersberg newsletter.)

In her press release, Anzing's mayor "thanks in particular the working group on site design led by architect Cornelia Probstmeier and the 3rd mayor Tobias Finauer, who worked together with the planning office Plankreis to develop a design thread".

This was created in many hours of voluntary work and is intended to serve as a guideline for the citizens as to how the design and planting in the town center should look.

Compliance with the requirements of the guide is a prerequisite for financial support.
