A small storm broke out here in the hot and steamy August. Abu Mazen, the head of the Palestinian Authority, again denied the Holocaust.
At a press conference with the Chancellor of Germany in Berlin, Abu Mazen was asked if he intends to apologize to Israel and Germany for the actions of the Palestinian terrorists 50 years ago, namely - the massacre of the 11 athletes in Munich, the anniversary of which will be celebrated in three weeks.

Abu Mazen was not confused, and answered assertively, full of pathos: "From 1947 until this day, Israel has committed 50 massacres in 50 Palestinian villages... 50 holocausts. To this day, every day we have more and more people killed by the IDF, by Israel ". One should not be surprised by Abu Mazen's Holocaust denial statements, nor should he be moved by his forced apology. He is, after all, a Holocaust expert, a doctor of Holocaust denial. The subject of his doctoral thesis was "Relations between the Nazis and Zionism in the years 1933-1945", and the book he subsequently published in 1984 bears the promising title "The Other Side: The Secret Connections Between the Nazis and the Leadership of the Zionist Movement".

In his book, he claims that the Zionist movement bears partial responsibility for the extermination of the Jews, denies the number of six million murdered and believes that there were less than a million, and also provides an explanation of where that number, six million, came from: "It seems that the interest of the Zionist movement is to inflate this number so that its achievements will be greater ".
Abu Mazen has never retracted his doctorate, and once in a while he makes a habit of releasing a lie and apologizing, from the language and to the press of course.
In the past he said that "the historical persecution of European Jews was caused by their behavior and not because of their religion" - and apologized.

Abu Mazen is not only a holocaust denier.
Ironically, Abu Mazen was asked if he apologizes for the murders of the terrorists in Munich.
But our friend Abu Mazen was part of that terrorist system.
"He was the finance minister of the murder, the one who brought the money from Saudi Arabia to finance the operation," once said Ilana Romano, whose husband Yosef is one of the Munich murders.

Prime Minister Lapid's response to Abu Mazen's remarks was swift and appropriate.
He signed it with the promise that "history will not forgive".
He was followed by the other heads of the political system with a night of condemnation.
But the truth is that all this is worthless.
The one who should not forgive Abu Mazen is not "history", but us.
We are the torch bearers of Holocaust remembrance, we are the last offspring of its destruction, we are the ones who build the national home of the Jewish people every day.
However, when Defense Minister Gantz holds face-to-face meetings with Abu Mazen in his own home in Rosh Ha'Ain, while Israel continues to transfer funds to the Palestinian Authority despite an explicit law, while he is still a partner - no amount of history will help.
