Two traffic accidents with fallen pedelec riders in the Isar valley

Yesterday there were two traffic accidents in which pedelec riders fell in the Isar valley.

On August 17, 2022, at 10:25 a.m., a 75-year-old man from the upper Isar valley in Krün turned his pedelec from Am Bärnbichl to the left into Finzbachstraße.
The senior was frightened by a car waiting there, braked too hard and fell.
He sustained minor facial injuries.
Wearing a bicycle helmet prevented serious injuries.
The waiting, 53-year-old car driver from Nuremberg cannot be blamed.
Minimal material damage was caused to the pedelec.
Also on August 17, 2022, at 11:15 a.m., another traffic accident occurred at Ferchensee near Mittenwald.
A 65-year-old pedelec driver from the upper Isar valley went too far to the right on the forest road and fell.
The woman sustained a serious shoulder injury.
An employee of the forestry company who happened to be passing by immediately gave the woman first aid and took care of the transport of the slightly damaged pedelec.
