In addition to the Île-de-beauté, Météo France also placed the Pyrénées-Atlantiques on Thursday in orange vigilance for a risk of rain-flooding

Until then placed on yellow vigilance for thunderstorms, Corsica has just turned orange this Thursday morning, due to a sudden and violent episode that occurred shortly after 8 a.m.

Météo France, which evokes "violent gusts of wind, intense lightning, and strong rainy activity giving rise to substantial accumulations in a short time" has thus placed the Ile-de-beauté on alert for violent storms.
