On the Georges-Marrane esplanade, in Ivry-sur-Seine (Val-de-Marne), PCF activists are busy this Thursday morning to install the fruits and vegetables of farmers collected the day before.
A few red and white flags float above the tents and signs "Eat healthy and satisfy your hunger" are hung on the tables, reminiscent of a well-known slogan of the former presidential candidate Fabien Roussel.
"Look how beautiful they are, the lettuces are 1 euro", launches an activist to the most curious passers-by.
