The Iraqi Ministry of Electricity announced that one of the electricity transmission lines in the northern province of Kirkuk was exposed to a terrorist act of sabotage.
The ministry said in a statement today: that one of the electricity transmission lines was subjected to sabotage with explosive devices, which caused the tower to collapse, the wires to be cut, and the line to go out of service.
Electricity transmission towers in the northern and western provinces of Iraq have been repeatedly attacked by ISIS remnants, which exacerbated the electricity shortage crisis in the country.
