The Prime Minister of Finland, Sanna Marin, underwent a drug test after the recording of her dancing at a party caused a stir - this is what she said today (Friday) at a press conference.
She stated that the results should be received next week, and repeated that she had never taken drugs.
"I didn't do anything illegal," she said, "even in my teens I never used drugs."
When asked by the journalists if she could make government decisions if necessary in her situation, she answered that she "doesn't remember a single time when there was a sudden situation in the middle of the night where I had to go to the State Council."
However, she emphasized that "my ability to function was really good."
Marin said she knew she was being filmed, but admitted she was surprised the footage was leaked.
"I trust that people understand that work hours and leisure hours can be separated," she said.
"I spent a night with my friends, we just celebrated, I danced and sang."
She denied that the distribution of the videos were part of an extortion plan: "I am not being blackmailed, these are private videos that were not supposed to be public."
