Al-Talia team defeated Hittin 1-0 in the match that was held today at the Seventh of April Stadium in Aleppo, as part of the 10th edition of the Journalists' Cup Football Tournament, to top the first group with six points.
The participating teams were divided into two groups, the first included Al-Talia, Hittin and Al-Hurriya clubs, the second by Al-Ittihad clubs Ahli Aleppo, Al-Karama and Al-Majd.
In the semi-finals, the first of the first group will meet the second of the second group on the twenty-fifth of this month, followed on the following day by the first match of the second group with the second of the first group. The winners of these two matches qualify for the final, which will be held on the twenty-eighth of this month.
