Crazy turnaround in the case of the dead woman from Ingolstadt: 23-year-old lives – suspect arrested

A lifeless woman was found in a car in Ingolstadt.
The identity seemed quickly resolved.
Now, however, new evidence sheds a different light on the case.
Ingolstadt – On Tuesday, August 16, in the late evening hours in Ingolstadt, a 23-year-old woman was found dead in a car on Peisserstrasse.
Initially, the police assumed that the victim was a German-Iraqi woman, mainly because the family recognized the alleged victim.
Now, however, the case took an extraordinary turn.

As the police announced in a press release on Thursday, the alleged victim is said to be still alive.
Forensic medicine carried out an autopsy on the body, which was found by the family members of the German-Iraqi woman.
This and "forensic comparisons by the Ingolstadt Criminal Police Inspectorate" had already suggested on Wednesday afternoon that the dead person was not the initially suspected 23-year-old.
Witness references received by the Ingolstadt police department for homicides also confirmed the suspicion.
Forensics are still examining the car in which the 23-year-old was found.

Therefore, the police decided on Wednesday to issue a search for the 23-year-old.
This led to the alleged victim being arrested around 9:55 p.m. in Ingolstadt.
The police report goes on to say: "In the course of the night, a 23-year-old Kosovar was arrested in his apartment in Ingolstadt with the support of the police inspection special units, against whom there were sufficient suspicions of having been involved in the killing of the woman found .”

Riddles about the dead woman from Ingolstadt
The big mystery now is who the found woman is?
According to the current state of investigation, she should also be 23 years old and look very similar to the woman initially suspected to be the victim.
But she should come from another state.
The investigations are now concentrating in particular on clarifying the motive and reconstructing the course of the crime.
It is also checked whether the three people were related to each other.
"The public prosecutor's office in Ingolstadt has applied for an arrest warrant against the two suspects on suspicion of a homicide.
You will be brought before the magistrate today," the report concludes.
