British police announced on Friday August 19 that they had charged with two additional indecent assaults one of its former agents convicted of raping and killing a Londoner, a case that shocked the United Kingdom.
Wayne Couzens, 49, is serving a life sentence for the March 2021 abduction, rape and murder of Sarah Everard, 33, when he was an officer with the Metropolitan Police in London.

He has already appeared in four cases of indecent assault between January 22 and February 27, 2021 around Swanley, south-east London.
The two new offenses he is charged with allegedly took place on June 9, 2015 in the Dover area and on November 13, 2020 near Deal, two towns located in the south-east of England, police said.
Wayne Couzens will appear in Westminster Magistrates Court in London on September 2.
