Alan Weisselberg, the former chief financial officer of the Donald Trump Organization, has pleaded guilty to fraud and tax evasion and agreed to testify at a trial for the organization.
The Manhattan attorney general's office said in a statement that Weiselberg, who has worked for the Trump family since 1973, pleaded guilty to 15 counts of fraud and tax evasion, including $1.67 million in unreported income between 2005 and 2021.
Prosecutor Alvin Bragg said, according to the statement, that Weisselberg had admitted in court to using his position in the Trump Organization to defraud taxpayers and enrich himself. Value in the next trial against the organization.
