Manchester United have reached an agreement with Real Madrid to sign Brazilian midfielder Casemiro, the English Premier League side announced Friday.
British media reported on Thursday that United would pay Madrid $60 million upfront with an additional $10 million for the midfielder's services.

“Manchester United is delighted to announce that the club has reached an agreement with Real Madrid for the transfer of Casemiro.
The transfer is subject to personal terms agreement, UK visa requirements and a medical examination.

Casemiro has played more than 500 professional matches, including 63 at international level for his native Brazil.
He has won 17 major honors in his illustrious career, including five Champions League titles and the Copa América”.
The message closes with "we all look forward to welcoming Casemiro to Old Trafford".
