The date is set: Alfons Schuhbeck (73) has to answer before the Munich I district court from October 5th.

He is accused of tax evasion in the millions.

Munich – There is no escape for Alfons Schuhbeck (73).

The Munich I district court has set the date for his criminal trial.

Accordingly, the star chef has to answer in Munich from October 5th.

He now faces a prison sentence.

Because according to the investigations of the public prosecutor, Schuhbeck is said to have cheated the Treasury properly.

He is accused of tax evasion in the amount of around one million euros and also unjustly obtained tax advantages in the millions.

According to federal legislation, there is now a mandatory prison sentence if the tax evasion is more than one million euros - according to the investigations, this is the case with Schuhbeck.

The star chef must therefore answer before the Munich I district court and will need explanations there in order to be able to avert a prison sentence.

The Munich judiciary has planned sufficient time for this: According to information from our editorial team, at least 15 days of negotiations are planned in order to be able to examine the tax case in detail.

Schuhbeck has the presumption of innocence as the accused.

But if the tax allegations are confirmed, things will get tight for the star chef.

In the run-up to the criminal proceedings, neither Alfons Schuhbeck himself nor his two defense attorneys, Markus Gotzens and Sascha König, wanted to comment on the case.

The public prosecutor's office is also not allowed to disclose any details in the course of tax secrecy.

It is therefore surprising that a number of details from the indictment are now making the rounds: The Süddeutsche Zeitung, for example, writes that Schuhbeck is said to have allegedly operated “specific cash register manipulation” in a bar in Orlando “in order to smuggle large amounts of money past the tax authorities”.

In the South Tyrolean parlours, “invoices are said to have been canceled on a large scale”.

Intentionally unrecorded cash receipts.

Trial against Alfons Schuhbeck: Do those responsible for FC Bayern now have to testify?

25 investigation files had come together.

The case will be heard until shortly before Christmas.

Statements may also have to be made by those responsible at FC Bayern Munich, because Schuhbeck often traveled with the club.

He had cooked for the kickers.

The trial must show whether there were tax offenses in Schuhbeck's noble restaurants during these times.
