Two Moroccan diplomats posted in Colombia have been suspended from their duties by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs after being drugged and robbed by young women they met on Tinder, AFP learned on Friday August 19 from a Moroccan diplomatic source in Rabat.
The two members of the Moroccan embassy - a counselor and an accountant - were recalled to Rabat where they appeared before a disciplinary council for having damaged the image of the ministry, the same source told AFP.
They are likely to be removed from office permanently.
An investigation has also been opened to decide on possible legal proceedings against them.
