The story could have ended very badly.
On the night of August 15 to 16, police officers from the Provins police station spotted a driver driving in the wrong direction on a roundabout near Sourdun.
But the driver at the wheel of his Audi A3 refuses to stop at the sight of the police.
He fled in the direction of Vulaines-lès-Provins.
A chase begins.
Alerted, the police officers of the anti-crime brigade then mount a dam with a stop stick, a telescopic harrow which deploys when it is thrown on the ground in order to puncture the tires of the vehicle whose driver refuses to comply.
