The first "Tombstone Rock Festival" takes place on Saturday, August 20th in the Gringo City in Schnabelmoos.

Schnabelmoos

- Just over a year ago, the Country Gringos Moosinning completed their western town in Schnabelmoos - in 26 months of construction on their own.

Since then, one music event has followed the next.

Now another day of concerts is coming up: On Saturday, August 20th, the Gringos, in cooperation with "Rocker Zone Munich - Kultur und Konzerte e.

V.” on the premises in Gringo City hosted the first “Tombstone Rock Festival”.

(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Erding newsletter.)

"The name says it all," writes chairman Manfred Böhm in a press release. After all, six rock bands are heating up the guests with their own songs and cover versions from AC/DC to ZZ Top.

Admission is at 1 p.m., at 2 p.m. DJs start to get the guests in the mood.

At 3 p.m. the band Rockwork will start with cover versions of classic rock music.

At 4.10 p.m. Keep the Mood plays, an Erdinger band that developed from the well-known band Mr. Mood, which was an integral part of the Erdinger rock scene for 30 years.

At 5:30 p.m., Glory Daze from Munich will be playing hard rock and heavy metal in the tradition of the 80s.

Around 7 p.m. Bowmen enter the stage, three studio musicians who have already played in bands such as Capt'n Hammer, Zauberberg and Saragoss Band.

At 8:30 p.m., visitors can look forward to the band Grap and their rock without limits - "you have to see, hear and, above all, experience it live," says Böhm.

Richie Kelly's Overture, a melodic rock band that released their first album in 2015, will conclude at 10 p.m.

Admission for the six bands is twelve euros, and thanks to the tent, the event takes place in any weather.

The Country Gringos will serve you coffee, cake, steak rolls, fries, pizza, gringo burgers and drinks.
