Spectacular photo from Cologne: high-altitude rescuers show a special view

With this spectacular snapshot from Cologne, the high-altitude rescuers said goodbye to the end of the day on August 19th.

The height rescuers of the Cologne fire brigade have published a photo that shows a spectacular view of Cologne.

But where are the two gentlemen actually hanging?

Cologne – The fact that the job of the high-altitude rescuers of the Cologne fire brigade is often spectacular is something that many people in Cologne have known for a long time, not just since their breathtaking cathedral training session.

The Cologne fire brigade has now demonstrated via their social networks that logically this also results in spectacular images.

The photo from August 19 shows two rescuers hanging from a building at a dizzying height - with the best view of Cologne Cathedral, the Rhine, the Hohenzollern Bridge and the city panorama, reports 24RHEIN.

Because: The two height rescuers are hanging upside down on the building, the photo was rotated for posting on social networks - and so Cologne appears "wrong eröm" from the viewer's perspective, i.e. the wrong way around.

"When the cathedral itself is standing, then it's going to be for the weekend!", writes the fire brigade - which translates as "when even the cathedral is upside down, it's time for the weekend!"

Height rescuers have the best view of the cathedral in Cologne - but which building are they attached to?

The only question that remains is: Where exactly are the two gentlemen hanging?

It's probably not going to be the crane houses, the perspective is too far away for that.

Perhaps at the WDR building on the north-south journey?

The Cologne fire brigade provided the answer itself when asked by 24RHEIN: "The photo was taken on the Telekom high-rise building on Sternstrasse."
