A young man in his 20s was fatally injured when he drowned in a swimming pool in the northern Jezreel Valley.
The young man was referred for medical treatment at a hospital after undergoing initial resuscitation at the scene of the incident.
A Magen David Adom paramedic, Maor Atdegi, who was present at the scene of the incident, said: "We saw a 20-year-old unconscious man on the edge of the pool, without breathing and without a pulse. People on the spot told us that they pulled him out of the water when he was unconscious and began performing basic CPR on him. We gave him life-saving medical treatment. A life that included the provision of electric shocks and advanced and prolonged resuscitation operations, we continued to fight for his life while evacuating him to the hospital when his condition was critical."
