The Syrian Arab Army team continued to consolidate its successes in the tank biathlon race within the framework of the International Military Games (Army 2022) hosted by the Alabina Military Field on the outskirts of the Russian capital, Moscow, and for the second time ranked first in its group in front of a large crowd of fans.

The performance of the Syrian team was greatly welcomed by the Russian public and the Syrian students, who came to watch the heroes of their army display their military expertise after they fought battles of honor in the fight against armed terrorist organizations for several years.

In interviews with SANA’s correspondent in Moscow, Major General Maan al-Dahma, head of the Syrian team for the International Military Games, said, “For the second time, we get first place in the second group in the tank biathlon, and we have achieved a good arrangement and in record time in the competition with the teams of Armenia, Laos and Myanmar. On the first place in the general results for the entire group, that is, the eight teams.

He added, "Our team excelled in merit, as it executed its plan in a distinctive way and achieved casualties almost completely," noting that today's results are the result of rigorous and complete training, as we fought combat operations for a long time during the years and brought heroes from the battlefield against international terrorism to the international tank biathlon field in the suburbs Moscow".

In a similar interview, Brigadier General Saad Salameh, deputy head of the Syrian team for the International Military Games, said, “Our evaluation of the performance of our team today was very good,” expressing his wishes that the overall results will be good after the team members exerted all their energy and experience.

In turn, the military attaché at the Syrian Embassy in Moscow, Brigadier Adnan Ibrahim, expressed his pride in the Syrian team winning first place in today's round of the tank biathlon race.

In meetings with members of today's crew, First Lieutenant Guevara Salama, the tank's archer, First Lieutenant Hamza Salhab, the tank's commander, and First Aide Iyad Muhammad, the tank's driver, indicated their pride in achieving first place, considering that this result is a new achievement for Syria in addition to its victories in all fields.

Among the Syrian team's fans, the two students, Bassam Jadeed and Laila Darwish, expressed their happiness with the Syrian team's victory, noting that it had proven very efficient and proved to be a well-trained army whose performance was characterized by speed and accuracy.
