Hama, SANA- The competitions of the Republic Championship were concluded on the open fields of Al-Basel Sports City in Hama.

The Republic Championship tennis competitions for the age groups under 10, 12 and 14 years for males and females were concluded on the open pitches of Al-Basel Sports City in Hama, with the participation of 75 male and female players from seven governorates.

The results of the men’s U-10 category resulted in the Hama player Qusai Al-Turk winning the first place, followed by his colleague Fadi Samou’ in second place. In the females, Latakia player Taj Ibrahim came first, followed by Bisan Al-Jarf from Hama. The Damascus national team player Iyad Selim won the title of the U-12 category for males, followed by Karim Selim from Hama second, and Yara Samoua from Hama won the female title, followed by her colleague Hanadi Al-Baroudi in second place.

As for the men’s under 14-year category, the As-Suwayda player Nawar Zahr-al-Din took the first place, ahead of the Aleppo player Osama Al-Sarraj, while the female category championship was won by the Hama player Mary Abrash, followed by the Suwayda player Bana Azi.

In a statement to the SANA sports reporter in Hama, Mukhles Al-Qashas, ​​a member of the Syrian Arab Tennis Federation, said that the tournament was of a good standard and witnessed strong and exciting matches in various categories. And his competition for the titles of all age groups, which gave the tournament a distinct flavor, and the honor we gave to the winners of the first places was important in terms of motivating the participants for the better in the upcoming tournaments.
