After a two-year Corona break, the Oktoberfest is returning to Munich in 2022.

The largest and best-known folk festival in the world attracts millions of visitors to the Bavarian capital.

Everyone dresses up, puts on a dirndl or lederhosen and is well-armed with the trendy Oktoberfest accessories.

It's not just the Wiesn landlords who are getting the ruble in view of the higher prices for a liter of beer.

The prices for a hotel room are many times more expensive than in "normal" times.

Due to the high demand, the costs around the Oktoberfest are increasing extremely.

Oktoberfest hotels: In which parts of the city should I stay?

From September 17th to October 3rd the Oktoberfest 2022 will take place on the Theresienwiese in Munich.

In these more than two weeks, all tents are of course fully booked, the reservation requests exceed the contingents many times over.

While the weekdays are a little more leisurely, the Oktoberfest is literally bursting at the seams over the three weekends.
