The Palestinian presidency confirmed that the Israeli occupation’s violation of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and other religious sanctities in the occupied city of Jerusalem is a red line, warning of its serious repercussions and consequences for the region.
The Palestinian presidency clarified in a statement today on the occasion of the 53rd anniversary of the burning of Al-Aqsa Mosque that the continuation of the Israeli occupation and its settlers’ attacks on the city of Al-Quds with the aim of deepening settlement there, changing its features and obliterating its civilizational identity constitutes a continuation of the crime of burning Al-Aqsa Mosque and a continuation of the plan to Judaize the city.
The presidency considered that these violations and crimes committed in front of the eyes and ears of the world are a blatant challenge to the international community, which must break its silence and stop its violations by imposing compliance with international law and resolutions of international legitimacy.
The presidency renewed its call on the international community to take serious action to put an end to all repeated Israeli aggressions and violations and to enable the Palestinian people to exercise their right to self-determination and to establish their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
Today marks the 53rd anniversary of the Zionist terrorist Dennis Michael Rohan, in coordination with the occupation authorities, who set fire to the tribal prayer hall in Al-Aqsa Mosque within the framework of the occupation’s continuous attempts to this day to destroy one of the most important religious and historical monuments that confirm the depth and rootedness of the Arab Islamic presence in the occupied city of Jerusalem and the Palestinian territories. .
