The head of the Main Department of Innovative Development of the Russian Ministry of Defense Alexander Osadchuk announced that more than 1.4 million people visited the “Armia 2022” military forum in the first six days of its opening.
"By the end of the sixth day of the International Military-Technical Forum "Armia 2022", the total number of visitors exceeded 1.4 million people, an increase of 23.5 percent over last year," Osadchuk was quoted by Sputnik as saying.
Osadchuk indicated that 340 events were organized within the framework of the forum, which is one and a half times more than last year, in addition to holding 52 conferences, 32 interdepartmental meetings and 69 briefing sessions with the participation of nearly 22,000 people.
The opening of the forum recently witnessed a variety of activities, where military teams representing the participating countries carrying their country's flags carried out a military parade in conjunction with the playing of Russian bands.
Syria is participating in the “Armia 22” international military forum with the Syrian Arab Army team, which achieved first places in its group in the tank biathlon race.
