An ATV tied to a cart that was attached to a car detached from the cart and flew into the opposite lane on Route 85 in the north.

There were no injuries in the incident, which took place last week and was recorded by a car camera of a resident of the Upper Galilee who was driving in the opposite direction.

Hadas, a resident of the north whose father escaped harm, said that the case characterizes the dangerous driving of many drivers who are now traveling in the north and the fear of getting on the roads of the north these days.

"My father was driving a car on road number 85 between the intersections of Kader and Hananiya. A car with a Ranger hitched to it came in front of him," she said.

"The Ranger overturned apparently due to a sharp deviation in the steering wheel or excessive speed. The first vehicle that drove directly in front of it was slightly damaged, the first vehicle that drove after it and my father's vehicle managed to dodge and get to the curb in time."

According to her, "We are in a peak period in the northern region, which is loaded with travelers who simply do not know the roads. We residents of the north really feel the lack of order and the mess on the roads that results from the overload of travelers."

"The result could have been completely different."

Attorney Yaniv Yaakov, CEO of the Or Yerok association, said that "Luckily there were no casualties in the accident, but the result could have been completely different. The video illustrates how important a separation fence between the lanes is that would have prevented the overturned cart from moving into the opposite lane."

He added that during the end of the holiday, the northern roads are full of families traveling.

"Some drivers do not know the roads at all and are not used to driving on roads with poor infrastructure, in the hours of darkness and when tired. The police must increase their presence on the main roads in order to increase deterrence in order to prevent life-threatening traffic violations."
