Former President Donald Trump filed a lawsuit against the FBI over the search of his home in Mar-a-Lago two weeks ago.
The motion filed on Monday asks a judge to appoint a special agent to review the materials seized by the government and argues that they were taken under an "excessively broad order."
The lawsuit also includes a message that Trump delivered to a top Justice Department lawyer on Aug. 11, just days after the raid.

"Former President Trump wants the Attorney General to know that he has been hearing from people all over the county about the raid. If there is one word to describe his state of mind, it is 'angry.' The heat is building. The pressure is mounting." . Anything you can do to lower the pressure, please let me know," the message read, according to the lawsuit.
This is a developing story.
