The Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, stressed the unity of the path and destiny with Syria, because it is the basis of the axis of resistance and the steadfastness front, and the refusal to surrender to Israeli conditions.
Sayyed Nasrallah said in a speech on the occasion of the fortieth anniversary of Hezbollah’s launch, which was broadcast by Al-Manar TV: “Today, tomorrow, and at any time, if the Syrian resistance is subjected to any aggression, we will not hesitate to attend the confrontation and defiance field and stand with it.”
Sayyed Nasrallah stressed the return of normal relations between Syria and Lebanon, especially that the biggest beneficiary of it is Lebanon, pointing to the need to thank the Syrian leadership and people for standing by Lebanon and its people during the past forty years, as it opened doors for it and secured political, diplomatic and security protection for it.
Nasrallah indicated that Hezbollah will remain part of the resistance axis and betting on it as an axis of the force capable of confronting the schemes of hegemony and defending the holy sites, pointing out that one of the results of the legendary steadfastness of this axis in the July war is the overthrow of the new Middle East project, the termination of the “Greater Israel” project and the destruction of the myth. The indomitable army.
Sayyed Nasrallah stressed that the Palestine issue is part of the nation's honor and culture, and there is no place in it for abandonment, neutrality or retreat, and that the resistance will continue to stand by the Palestinian people.
Regarding the file of demarcating the borders with occupied Palestine, Nasrallah stated that the Israeli threats have no value, because the resistance’s decision and direction is clear, waiting for the coming days to adopt what is required, stressing the work to liberate the rest of the occupied Lebanese land as a national responsibility.
Nasrallah said: “No one imagines that propaganda campaigns, noise, attenuation and lies can destroy the determination of the resistance, which is going today towards developing the military structure and capabilities to keep pace with developments at the level of weapons and technology. .
Regarding Lebanese internal affairs, the Secretary-General stressed that Hezbollah will not be drawn into a civil war or sectarian strife, as some want, explaining that all it wants is “aspiration for a real, sovereign state that is not subject to an American embassy or any other embassy or foreign domination.”
