The head of the National Assembly, Eyal Hulta, is in Washington and is expected to receive updates from the administration on the escalation of contacts with Iran • In Iran they reported that the only obstacles to reaching an agreement are the conduct of the Americans and Israel's opposition

The drama of the emerging nuclear agreement with Iran: in Jerusalem today (Tuesday) the reductions in the talks between the powers and Iran are being followed.

The Prime Minister's Office in the National Assembly and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are closely monitoring the reports of a very close agreement between Iran and the United States regarding the nuclear program.

The head of the MLA, Eyal Hulta, who is in Washington, is expected to receive detailed updates from his American interlocutors in the coming hours.

According to the report, Lapid and his people are very disturbed by the information that has accumulated so far about the agreement that is taking shape.

Later today, a situation assessment is expected in which it will be decided how to continue to act against the emerging agreement.

In the meantime, the Iranian news agency "Noor-News", which is considered the mouthpiece of the Revolutionary Guards and the radical conservative faction in Iranian politics, reported that the main source of its opposition to the wording of the occupying agreement is the rejection of the American government's reply as well as pressure exerted by Israel in order to bring the talks to a halt.

A senior American revealed this morning to the American news agency "Reuters" that Iran removed some of its key demands as part of the negotiations on the nuclear deal.

The source also revealed that Washington intends to soon submit its response to Iran's draft proposal for a new nuclear agreement that will allow the United States to return to the 2015 nuclear agreement, which aims to prevent Iran's ability to acquire nuclear weapons.

The source stated, under conditions of anonymity due to the sensitivity of the issue, that despite the Iranian pressure that Washington was the one that made far-reaching concessions, it was Tehran that removed key issues from its list of demands, but did not specify which issues were involved.

"Basically, they just came to us this week and removed the main requirements that would delay the deal," the source told the news agency.

"We think that they have finally crossed the Rubicon towards the possibility of returning to the agreement under conditions that President Biden can accept. If we are closer to signing the agreement today, it is because Iran has moved its position. They have given up issues that they insisted on from the beginning of the talks," said the official.

The European Union's foreign commissioner, Joseph Borrell, commented today on the progress in the talks and said that the European proposal submitted to Iran is acceptable to most of the countries participating in the talks on the nuclear deal with Iran.

"Most of the countries agree with the proposal, but I still do not have the answer from the United States, which is expected to be received during the week," Borrell said, admitting that Iran did request some amendments to the European proposal, but did not reveal what they were.
