A child was martyred and his five brothers were injured when a landmine left behind by terrorist groups exploded in the agricultural plains of the town of Namer in the northeastern countryside of Daraa.
Director of the General Authority of Daraa National Hospital, Dr. Yahya Kiwan, said in a statement to SANA reporter: The hospital received today 6 siblings between the ages of one and a half and fifteen years, all of whom had moderate to serious injuries as a result of a mine explosion in the agricultural plains of the town of Namer.
Kiwan pointed out that an eleven-year-old child of the injured died instantly of his wounds, while the necessary aid was provided to the rest of the children, and one of them will be transferred to Damascus because of a vascular injury he has.
Yesterday, a member of the Internal Security Forces was martyred when an explosive device exploded in his car while he was on his way to work near Al-Sina'a roundabout in the center of Daraa city.
