An Iraqi civilian was killed today as a result of an armed attack in the north of Diyala Governorate, east of the country.
Alsumaria news website quoted an Iraqi security source as saying in a statement today that "unidentified gunmen riding a motorcycle shot a 14-year-old child in Muqdadiya district, northeast of the province, killing him instantly," adding that a security force cordoned off the incident area. And opened an investigation to find out the circumstances.
