Ukraine has now received involuntary help from Russian tourists in Crimea.
Their holiday photos revealed Putin's anti-aircraft positions.
Simferopol - The Russian-occupied Crimean peninsula has recently become more and more of a focus in the Ukraine war.
For example, a Russian ammunition depot went up in flames.
But apparently there are still Russians who use the occupied territory for a beach vacation.
Your holiday pictures are now causing trouble in Russia - in Ukraine, on the other hand, glee.

"Maybe we're being too harsh on Russian tourists... Sometimes they can be really helpful," Ukraine's Defense Ministry tweeted Monday (22 August).
A photo of a holidaymaker standing in swimming trunks in front of heavy Russian equipment was also posted.
Accordingly, the Defense Ministry went on to write: “Like this man taking photos of Russian air defense positions near Yevpatoria in occupied Crimea.

But the tourist should not be the only one who gave the Ukrainians important information with holiday pictures.
The satellite image researcher Benjamin Pittet also shared photos that were originally published by a Crimean vacationer on VKontakte.
Accordingly, she wrote the location Yevpatoria for a picture.
With the photos it is easy for geoanalysts to determine the exact position of the air defense.
To do this, they are compared with satellite images, for example.
